The price of one charging spot is made up of the kit for that spot, a share of the property’s shared infrastructure and, only when needed, a power increase from EDS, the grid operator. The kit with basic installation next to the distribution board costs 39.000 or 104.000 RSD incl. VAT; the shared part depends on the distance to the distribution board, the number of spots and the type of property.

You can rerun the examples in this guide with your own property’s details in the charger price calculator.
The basic unit is the charging spot, and it costs the same as the kit with a MID-certified meter and basic installation:
The socket suits long stays — residents, employees or a garage that’s rented out, for example. For charging overnight or during the workday, 11 kW is enough. A 22 kW charger makes sense where a car stays 1–3 hours and can itself accept 22 kW, while a DC charger is a separate project with a new grid connection.
Basic installation means the charger on the wall next to the existing distribution board, a new sub-panel or a junction box on the shared line: up to 2 m of cable, RCD protection and a breaker. A longer cable to the spot, cable ducts, a wall passage or modifications to the distribution board are priced separately. The amount is set at the site assessment and written into the quote before work starts.
For one or two spots next to the distribution board, no shared part is needed: a hotel with 2 such spots costs about 220.000–244.000 RSD. With more spots, or spots farther from the distribution board, infrastructure that serves all of them is added:
This part depends on the distance to the distribution board and the layout of the spots, so the examples give it as a range. The lower end applies to shorter, simpler cable routes and the upper end to longer ones; the exact amount comes after the on-site assessment.
If the existing power isn’t enough, a power increase or new grid connection is paid to EDS under its price list and the methodology of AERS, the energy regulator. In the quote, this is a separate line item with no markup from us, and load management often makes an increase unnecessary.
The subscription costs 990 RSD per month per spot incl. VAT, with the first 2 months at 0 RSD and no contract lock-in. It includes a monthly MID meter statement in PDF and CSV format, for your accounting or for cost pass-through (re-invoicing) to users with no markup. It also covers a reply within 48 hours, priority service and an annual check of the installation and equipment — and the charger and meter work without a subscription as well.
An on-site assessment costs 2.990 RSD and is credited toward the installation. Before it, we reply to your inquiry with a rough estimate based on photos and the electricity bill.
The examples are rough estimates including VAT, for typical conditions and without a subscription. The calculator shows the amounts excluding VAT.
The hotel with 4 spots has a higher price per spot than the garage with 10, even though the garage’s distribution board is farther away. In the garage, the sub-panel, design and documentation are spread over more spots. The company has no shared part, because each charger goes in at an employee’s address, as a basic installation next to the distribution board.
If, along with the 10 chargers, another 20 spaces in the garage are prepared for later with a cable route and junction box, the price is about 1.848.000–2.233.000 RSD. A charger can later go in at any of those 20 spaces as a basic installation, at the kit price.
The subscription in these examples comes to 3.960 RSD per month for the hotel, 9.900 RSD for the garage and 4.950 RSD for the company — 990 RSD per spot. In a new build, it applies only to spots with a charger.
In an apartment building garage, only the residents who join pay for the shared line, so it costs the building nothing. Each participant covers the price of their own kit and their portion of the shared line. Example for a garage with up to 30 spaces and the distribution board 10–30 m away, price per participant incl. VAT:
The shared part grows more slowly than the number of participants: for 5 participants it’s about 300.000–597.000 RSD, and for 20 participants about 668.000–1.130.000 RSD. Split among the participants, each one’s portion keeps getting smaller. Still, a spot in the ZGRADA kit never costs less than 96.000 RSD: in this example, that’s the price of a reinforced socket from 10 participants on.
Participants in the same garage each choose their own kit: a reinforced socket or a wallbox.
Anyone who joins later pays for their own spot and the connection to the existing line. How the process goes through the residents’ assembly is described on the page about chargers for apartment buildings.
The prices in the examples and the calculator don’t include:
Example: a hotel with 6 spots in an outdoor parking lot, with pedestals and the distribution board 10–30 m away, costs about 1.079.000–1.350.000 RSD, excluding excavation and asphalt work.
Under the current rulebook on special types of works (Official Gazette RS 87/2023 and amendments), installing chargers requires a decision approving the works under Art. 145 of the Law on Planning and Construction. At the assessment we tell you exactly what applies to your property; we provide the technical description of the works and the as-built documentation, and the property owner obtains the approval, if one is needed.

The calculator works out the price per spot for a building, hotel, garage, new build or business using the same rules as the examples above, incl. VAT. You get the exact price in the quote after the site assessment.
